Mildred A. Oles

Mildred A. Oles, age 94 of St. Peter, passed on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Central Health Care, Le Center.

Memorial service will be 11:00am Saturday, April 9, 2022 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery. To view a livestream of the service or to leave a condolence, visit her obituary at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Mildred was born on October 2, 1927 to John and Bertha (Severin) Rengstorf. She married Peter De Groot in 1946. To this union three daughters were born. Peter passed away in 1962. Mildred then married Donald Oles on August 31, 1968, and they had one daughter together. They made their home in St. Peter where Mildred was a homemaker and was employed in summers with Green Giant (later Pillsbury). She enjoyed old time music, bingo, teaching German to her grand and great grand children, and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for saying "Always something; such is life".

Left to remember Mildred are her children: Barbara Hoehn, Beverly Wilking, Sharon (Michael) Mace and Carrie (Donald) Stierlen; grandchildren: David, Kiersten, Chris, David, Brandy, Kevin, Shawn, Steven, and Angie; great grandchildren: Josh, Tyler, Stephanie, Timothy, Jennifer, Ryan, Evan, Libby, Aiden, Ayden, Liam, Conner, Tyler, Tarrah, and Jasmine; great-great grandchildren: Easton, Raiden, Natalie, Carter, Liana and Briggs; sister: Caroline Byer; niece: Rhonda Gerlach; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both husbands, and a granddaughter: Sheila Hoehn.
