Reinold “Skip” Keller, age 83 of St. Peter, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, FL.
Memorial Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, St. Peter with visitation beginning at 9:00am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com
Reinold Henry was born May 27, 1935 to Carl and Grace (Meyer) Keller in St. Peter. He was raised in St. Peter, graduating from St. Peter High School in 1953. He then served in the National Guard before retiring honorably in 1982. Skip was a master plumber working in the construction industry and in maintenance at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, retiring in July 2000. He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed making wooden toys, having coffee with the guys, taking care of the daily “smorgasbord” for the deer and turkey, and mushroom hunting. He was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
Left to remember Skip are his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; children: Mike, Mary, Pat (Cindy) and Chuck (Kari); grandchildren: Cody (Jenise), Matt, Ashley (Jordan) Mauk, Griffin, Lucee, Lilee, Jackson and McKenzie; sister, Mary Lou (Ken) Theisen; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Joe Keller.
