Robert Wallace was born May 5, 1944 in St. Peter to George and Caroline (Flowers) Wendelschafer.  He was raised on the family farm in rural Cleveland, graduated from Cleveland High School in 1962 and then attended the University of Minnesota. Through his life he farmed, drove school bus, was a CNC operator at both Winco and Perfect Seal, and most recently mowed lawn for the City of St. Peter.  Buck was united in marriage to Linda (Schuller) Deno on July 1, 1988 in Waseca.  He was a member of the St. Peter Redman Club, Sons of the American Legion and the Cleveland High Basketball 1000 Point Club. Buck enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events, socializing with family and friends, watching wildlife, gardening and taking care of his pets. He especially looked forward to his weekly coffee dates with his children and grandchildren.  He truly looked for a new friend in everyone that he met.
