Ron Timmerman

Ron Timmerman, longtime resident of St. Peter, MN, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at 11:00 PM surrounded by family. He was 71 years old.

Born in Mankato, MN, on February 14, 1953 to Walter and Vivian Timmerman, Ron spent his life dedicated to his family and community. He married the love of his life, Jane, in 1976.

Ron retired from Gustavus Adolphus College, after a fulfilling 35-year career. He was passionate about the outdoors, especially camping, and cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Ron is survived by Jane, his wife; daughters: Becky Jones (husband Ryan), and Amanda Skalsky (husband Kalle); grandchildren: Addison & Piper Jones and Cayden & Mai'Yanna Timmerman; brothers: Jim, Dennis, and Russ; sister Dawn; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to DNR for MN State Parks, Hosanna Church, or Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com
