Stephen Raymond Drummer, age 69, longtime Kasota resident, died surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at his home in St. Peter.
A public visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the St. Peter Funeral Home (906 N. Washington Avenue, St. Peter, MN 56082). Steve was born August 31, 1951 in Mankato to Raymond and LaVaughn (Dusell) Drummer. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1969 and Mankato Vocational School in 1971. Steve was united in marriage to Teresa Fierke on September 9, 1972. They made their home in Kasota for 42 years before moving to St. Peter in 2019. Steve held various jobs around the area before beginning his own business, Wood Etc.
In his spare time, Steve enjoyed visiting various craft and micro-breweries, watching the Minnesota Vikings every Sunday, enjoying a cup of coffee over Facetime with his daughter, spending time in his shed working on his various woodworking projects while enjoying his 60s and 70s music, and spending time with his family.
Steve is survived by his wife, Teresa Drummer; daughters, Carri Pool (Dan Hinrichs) and Stephanie Drummer (Jason Roa); son-in-law, Sam Maas; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother, LaVaughn Drummer; and 8 siblings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Drummer; daughter, Jennifer Maas; sister, Cheryl Hammock; grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
The family prefers memorials be directed to The ALS Association MN/ND/SD Chapter (www.alsmn.org) or to Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice in Mankato.
