Tanya Rachael Westphal

Tanya Westphal, age 46 of St. Peter, passed away at home on Friday, April 9, 2021.

Memorial service will be  at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church as well. This service will be available to watch via live stream at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Tanya was born October 6, 1974 in St. Peter to Anthony F. and Denise J. (Scheel) Smisek and is a 1993 graduate of St. Peter High School. Tanya was united in marriage to Ronald L. Westphal on September 28, 2002 at the Mall of America Chapel in Bloomington. Tanya did home daycare from 2007 – 2019 and was also employed over the years at Family Fresh Market (formerly Econofoods) in various positions including: cashier, customer service and deli manager. Tanya waitressed at Ruttles, and was also was a delivery driver for Erberts & Gerberts. She enjoyed Twins baseball, vacations to Duluth, going to the State Fair, craft shows at Canterbury and especially spending time with her family.

Left to remember Tanya are her husband, Ron; children: Caleb and Abbigael; parents Tony and Denise Smisek; sister Kathy Brogan; sister-in-law Gail Westphal; brother-in-law Gary (Debbie) Westphal, as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; an uncle; mother-in-law and a sister-in-law.
