Landon David Gran

Landon D. Gran, age 18 of rural St. Peter, passed away unexpectedly in a farming accident on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, St. Peter with burial at Norseland Lutheran Cemetery, Norseland. Visitation will be Monday, August 19^th from 4:00 – 8:00 as well as 10:00 am Tuesday all at the church. Condolences for the family can be left at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Landon David was born on June 12, 2001 in Mankato to David and Michele (Williams) Gran. He lived on the family farm in Norseland, often helping with chores alongside his brother James. Landon was excited to start his senior year at St. Peter High School. He was an active member of FFA, where he would have served as secretary, and also on the varsity Trap Team.  Landon was active at church as a member of Life Teen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting, working on his 1978 Ford truck, going to car shows spending time with his brother and friends and making people laugh.

Left to remember Landon are his parents: David and Michele; brother James; girlfriend Madelyn Hohenstein (and her family); his puppy Benelli; grandmothers: Marie Gran and Wilma Williams (of Ipswich, SD); aunts and uncles: Tamara (Dave) Stein, Pat (Gene) Schlagel, Pam (Bob) Blank, Rick (Cheri) Williams, Gary (Shelley) Williams, Lynn (Rob) Schlaefli, Lori Geier, Terry Williams and Joe Williams; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Duane G. and Virgil D.; uncles Virgil and James and cousin Tim Schlaefli.
